Leadership Team Report - September 2021

1.    With regard to Stationing for a new minister for next year, it was confirmed that an application has been made for an overseas minister to come to serve the church. The result will not be known until February 2022.

2.    Following the suggestion by Adrian Burdon at the Covenant Service regarding a season of prayer focussing on looking to God and seeking His will for us as a church, it was decided to hold gatherings each Tuesday through the autumn starting 19th October.

3.    The treasurer reported a significant decrease in giving over recent months due to a number of factors, but we want to encourage folk to prayerfully consider their giving.

4.    We talked briefly about the on-going or restarting activities in the church, childrens work, pastoral care towards Christmas and property issues, (particularly the kitchen and possible development).

5.    The Church Council meets 5th Oct and will look at some of the above items, and a General Church Meeting will take place as part of the morning service on 10th October when further information and discussion on all these things will be possible.

If you have any immediate queries, please speak to a member of the Leadership Team:

Rev Adrian Burdon, Geoff Lamb, Sybil Lamb, Sue Willcocks,
Ruth Radcliffe, John Wilkinson and Rev Ian Coverdale
